There is hardly anything more soothing than getting a comfortable furniture that can be used both indoors and outdoors. Spending money on furniture is one of the toughest jobs that any individual or a family has, and there are always many things to consider before you would like to order an item of furniture.
But modern furniture, trying to be multifunctional and carrying a story to relate to, often offers unique combinations that are hard to miss. On the similar lines, Christian Vivanco has created Felix, a modern armchair that can be used both indoors and outdoors. He has collaborated with Los Patrones–the unique feature of this chair is that it has a personal pergola attatched to it.
True to the modern concept of creating interesting design tales while coming up with something new, the designer has been inspired by the Mexican architectural languages that were popular in the 50’s, when paraboloid structures and arches were in vogue and provided a distinct identity to the nation.
The unique design has two arches that are interconnected, thus keep the element of visibility though also lend separate spatial identity to the inner and outer space.
The comfort level of the chair is also maintained as sofa-type cusion is provided on all the sides.
So, what say you! Are you game to try this new item?
