May, 13Ryan Hemsworth – Perfectly
Acting as one of the year’s most exciting young musicians, Ryan Hemsworth returns after a short break for more of his increasingly-known production out of nowhere. His next piece of work is titled “Perfectly” and acts as a clear standout in terms of the many uplifting singles that have already been released this year. Hemsworth has proved that he can indulge into the likes of hip-hop and come away with something quite unique, but his latest track bursts with euphoric undertones to give us plenty of reasons to appreciate.

May, 13Kendrick Lamar – Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe (Director’s Cut)
Unexpectedly, Kendrick Lamar releases his video for his widely popular “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” single off his almost platinum good kid m.A.A.d city album. The visual starts at a funeral, as everyone pays respects, then moves to the cemetery to watch them lay down the coffin. Interestingly enough, everyone is wearing all-white everything, instead of black. We won’t give away the message at the end, you’re just going to have to watch for yourself. And no, Jay-Z does not make a cameo in the video. But this extended Director’s Cut of the video, does featured a ScHoolboy Q Oxymoron snippet at the end of the clip.
Directed by The Lil Homies and OG Mike Mihail.

Meanwhile, Jay is doing some good for kids by offering college scholarships to undeserved students. The scholarship, pushed through The Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation, covers scholarship money for those who wouldn’t typically qualify for a usual scholarship.
He will be awarding cash to single mothers, children who attend alternative schools, students who have earned a GED, students with grade point averages of 2.0 and students who have previously been incarcerated, etc., but desire a higher educational opportunity.

May, 13J. Cole – Truly Yours 2 [EP]
Last night J. Cole let loose his new jam “Cole Summer” to hold over his fans until his sophomore album, Born Sinner, drops on June 25. Cole was feeling extra generous as today he delivers the sequel to his EP Truly Yours with about 16 hours of anticipation. Much like the first, it is filled with some very dope tracks that Cole World had stored in his vaults, including ones featuring Southern vets like Young Jeezy and 2 Chainz.

Apr, 13Givenchy Black Leather Velcro-Strap Mid-Top Sneakers
Givenchy continues its season of luxury-streetwear fusion releases with these Black Leather Velcro-Strap Mid-Tops. Decidedly more subdued than its more outspoken star-studded high-top cousins, the luxury factor of these sneakers nonetheless shines through with its premium leather upper. We are fan of the streetwear movement, esp. when it comes to luxury. Should we call this inspirational? The black paneled upper features an angled cut-out collar and embossed Velcro strap as well as a perforated toe box for breathability. The sheen from the leather components are complemented and contrasted by the brass-colored eyelets.

Apr, 13Rita Ora Covers ELLE’s “Women In Music” Issue
The beautiful Rita Ora has landed on ELLE’s annual “Women In Music” issue this year, and not how you’d expect. Although we prefer her in more revealing clothing, she still got to rock some of the finest garments by Valentino and Dior Haute Couture.
For the cover, she had a nice conversation with ELLE about signing with Jay-Z, the Spice Girls and never allowing her record label to dictate her style. Peep some shots of her spread below, and check the mag on newsstands April 23.

Apr, 13Drake – Girls Love Beyonce (feat. James Fauntleroy)

So Drake is feeling really generous tonight, as he delivers some more new music with “Girls Love Beyonce” (yes they most certainly do, Drake). He also brings along the golden voice of R&B right now, James Fauntleroy, to sing the hook, which is actually the classic Destiny’s Child chorus on “Say My Name.” This will be on repeat for a minute.
Drake is on fire right now!
