In May 2005, The Benjamin Bear was just a dream of a couple college students trying to redefine contemporary street fashion. At its core inception it was the group of young artists trying to succeed by any means necessary.

The Benjamin Bear meaning ‘success the hard way’ as in no short cuts in life grew to be the embodiment of the contemporary street culture, by playing an integral part in today’s skaters, hip-hop heads, artists, and dreamer alike. Even though it grew into a local underground institution in the southeastern part of the states, The Benjamin Bear from day one always established itself as a brand known for its original, classic, and premium goods. Over its seven year history, The Benjamin Bear continues to strive to be the best in International Progressive & Contemporary Street wear. In January 2012 we change forever as we expanded our collection not only to the Benjamin Bear, but to some of the best limited brands across the globe and opened our Flagship store in South End, Charlotte.
